Recommended items to review prior to sending any automatic email activities:

Contacts for emails – verify contacts and email templates for option for which contact will be used for auto-emails

Verify wording on all email templates used for auto-emails (Admin > Master File > Email Template)

Verify customer link working in email templates, i.e. send manually email communication with link to your email address and test the link and login (be sure to log out of SARA before clicking the link)

Review invoice PDF’s uploading as expected – Admin > Settings & Utilities > Logs – Document Upload, verify status

Verify/preview any attachments, i.e. customized report / statement

No spam or limit on number of emails that can be sent at one time or in one day (click here for info on Email using Exchange submission rate, click here for more info on SendGrid if using Gmail or contact Support for more info)
Generating auto-activities / emails:

Go to Admin > Generate Actions

Select Preview only to review the Action Alerts that will be generated prior to generating activities (recommended prior to processing or scheduling first time)

Click on system messages when Preview ready, from within the messages, click the paperclip icon to open the Preview

After reviewing, make any changes necessary to filters, customers, etc, prior to generating

Verify the date to use to generate follow-up activities

Generate Actions

Review Activities generated (Inquiries > By User > Communication)

Review that processing is complete (Admin > Settings and Utilities > Logs > Generation Log), status should indicate Error or Success when complete.
