"Internal Message" is a section located on the messages drop-down. It is used as another way for Inquiry level users to communicate with Credit users by sending them a direct message and scheduling a followup from a customers account statement. (Note: This is only usable by INQUIRY level users)
To send an internal message follow the following steps:

As an Inquiry user navigate to the (Inquiries > By Account > Statement) of the customer of your choice

On the statement page, select the "Send a Message" button

This will open a window you can type the message

Once you select "OK" the message will display in the "Internal Message" section in the messages drop down menu.
