DSO - (Daily Sales Outstanding)
The DSO is calculated by taking your full current open invoice balance and dividing it by the total transaction amount of all invoices from the last 182 days. Take the number you receive and multiply it by 182 days to get the DSO from the last 6 months.
(SUM(All Invoice Balances) / SUM(InvTranAmt - All From Last 182 Days)) * 182
Ex. $1,500.00 of current open balances divided by $8,000.00 original Invoices Transaction Amounts from last 6 months - multiplied by 182 days to get a final 6 month DSO trend of 34.
(1500 / 8000) * 182 = 34
HOW TO FIND THIS INFORMATION

To find the current open invoice balance, navigate to (Inquiries > By User > Invoices) and select the "All" view to get the total open invoice balance (filtering for all invoices with a balance greater than $0.00 will also accomplish the same thing). This number can be found above the left-hand side of the grid.

Next, place a filter on the grid that only shows transactions from the last 6 months (182 days). This can be accomplished by applying the following filter:

The total from the "Total Amount" field can now be used in the calculation.

Take the first number (total current open balance) and divide it by this number (total amount from last 182 days) then multiply the total number by 182 to get the 6 month trend.
